We are specialists in formal wear hire based in Hampshire and have an extensive knowledge and experience in wedding suit hire, kilt hire, prom suit hire and any other men and boys suit hire services from tuxedos and dinner jackets to morning and highland wear.

There are many colour and jacket styles to choose from, together with a fabulous array of classic, modern and contemporary waistcoat designs and accessories. We have a made to measure service for both suits and waistcoats using brocades, velvets and silks. These can be individually personalised by our in house embroidery service.

Q. How much notice must I give when ordering?
A. The more notice you give the better it will be for us and your peace of mind. All prices quoted assume at least 21 days notice.

Q. What if the suit gets damaged during hire?
A. A £4.50 insurance charge can be taken out at the time of hiring to cover any accidental damage.

Q. When do I pay?
A. A £25.00 deposit is taken when placing your order (refundable on return of hire wear). Full hire fees are payable on collection. No Credit Cards - cash or cheque please.

Q. When do we collect the suits?
A. Suits can usually be collected on the Wed/Thurs prior to function.

Q. When do we return the suits?
A. All suits must be returned by 10 am the first shop trading day following the function.

Q. How do I pay for the suits?
A. Payment for all goods can be made by cash, or cheque with a valid card to cover the cheque amount. No credit cards.

Q. How to find us?
A. Approach Lasham from A339, from centre of village have Royal Oak Pub on your right hand side and Tapestry Cottage is approximately 300 yards down road on left. Five bar gate marked Tapestry Cottage - with parking in drive. There is a separate building for hirewear.

Terms and Conditions of Hire

1. A deposit of £25.00 is required when placing the order, refundable when garments are returned. Goods should be returned on the first working day after the function, before 10.00 a.m. Garments returned late will be charged at £10.00 per day.
2. Full hire fees are payable on collection.
3. Goods are hired to customers on the understanding that they shall be returned in an undamaged condition and the hirer undertakes to be fully responsible for them at their current selling value until they are returned. An excess charge will be levied if damaged.
4. There is an Accidental Damage Waiver Insurance charge of £4.50. N.B. The A.D.W. does not cover top hats, nor does it cover loss, theft or malicious damage.
5. Suit covers, hat boxes and shoe trees are loaned at no extra cost, but are subject to a charge of £15.00 if not returned.

7. Customers are advised to check immediately after collecting the hired goods, that they are complete and correct sizes and are in a good condition. We will not be liable for any loss suffered by a customer which could have been avoided by complying with the above advice, nor will be liable for any loss of profit, or any indirect or consequential loss suffered by a customer.
